As we all know that due to the impact of Coronavirus, GSMA has cancelled the MWC event. This is the biggest event for showcasing smartphone technologies and innovations. But as the event is cancelled, we all are waiting for OEMs to announce alternative events for their product unveiling. Of course few prototype products will not be revealed somewhere else, because new innovations need bigger platforms like MWC.
But seems like Honor still has something to show because Honor just announced that they scheduled a live stream event for their next product unveil. The event is scheduled for 24th February. It will be live streamed on many platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Honor website. Speaking about the products that are going to unveil, well right now we don’t have any idea on what the company is going to show. Maybe a new smartphone, but chances are low because Honor usually don’t prefer MWC for smartphone launches. And do note that this live stream is what they are going to show at MWC. So maybe something new on software side will be shown, or some other technology for future Honor smartphone.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. It’s good to know that Honor is hosting an event in replacement to MWC. Hope that soon other OEMs will also share the date for their separate event or even live stream. Because we all were very excited to see those innovative products.
