Honor Unveils Play 4T and 4T Pro with 4,000 mAh Battery

Honor launches Play 4T and Play 4T Pro aiming the mid-range segment. The Play 4T Pro comes with a punch-hole display and a triple camera setup. While the Play 4T equips waterdrop notch and a dual-rear camera, both phones come with AI capabilities to help boost photography capabilities. The Play 4T Series comes with a curved back and has a gradient design in the rear.

The Honor Play 4T has a 6.39-inch HD+ display. The phone is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710A SoC which is an octa-core processor. The graphics are handled by Mali-G51 GPU. A 48 MP primary sensor supported by a 2 MP depth sensor handles the photography. There is an 8 MP selfie snapper in the front. The phone runs on Magic UI 3.1 based on Android 10. 6 GB RAM supports the multitasking. It comes with Micro USB Port for charging and data transfer. A physical fingerprint sensor covers the security at the back. It comes with a 4,000 mAh battery and a 10W charger inside the box. It weighs 176 grams and is 8.13mm in thickness.

The Pro version has a display of 6.39-inches with a Full-HD+ resolution. Unlike the lighter version, Play 4T Pro has an OLED Display with 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by a more powerful Kirin 810 Soc, coupled with ARM Mali-G52 MP8 GPU. The phone has a RAM of up to 8GB. The 48 MP sensor is coupled with an f/1.8 lens. The secondary 8 MP ultrawide angle sensor has an f/2.4 aperture. Like Play 4T there is a 2 MP depth sensor here as well. For selfies, there is a 16 MP camera with an f/2.0 lens in the punch-hole towards the left of the display. The battery is of 4,000 mAh capacity and supports 22.5W fast charging. The phone has a USB Type-C port as well. It weighs in at 165 grams and is 7.75mm thick. Unlike Play 4T the Play 4T Pro has an in-display fingerprint scanner for unlocking the phone.

Both the devices have 128 GB storage which is expandable up to 512 GB via a microSD card. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Honor Play 4T is priced at CNY 1,199 and the pre-order starts from April 14th and sale start from April 21st, while the Honor Play 4T Pro is priced at CNY 1,499 for the 6GB + 128GB variant and the 8GB + 128GB option costs CNY 1,699.
