The popular Chinese smartphone brand Honor has officially introduced its latest folding smartphone called the Honor V Purse and the same was originally showcased during the IFA 2023 event in Berlin. The device is a mixture of technology and fashion. The female audience can literally use the device just like a purse and the same can be used to customize according to your dress as well. The newly introduced Honor V Purse is an outward folding phone and the same comes with a wraparound display on its back panel. The device is only 8.6mm thick when folded and it features interchangeable straps and chains to customize its appearance. It also comes with vegan leather material for straps as well.
The Honor V Purse sports a 6.45-inch primary display along with 2348×1088 pixels resolution and in the unfolded state, the device will offer a 7.7-inch display with 2348×2016 pixels resolution. Both displays feature a flexible OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits peak brightness. It also comes with an Always-on display with various interactive and interchangeable wallpapers and this will enable you to match with your outfit.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Honor V Purse features a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main sensor along with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. The device also features an 8MP front-facing camera as well.
Under the hood, the Honor V Purse is powered by the Snapdragon 778G mobile processor along with 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. It houses a 4,500mAh battery along with 35W fast charging and the device runs on MagicOS 7.1 based on the Android 13 operating system.
The device comes with dual stereo speakers along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security. The device also comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C for connectivity.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the pricing of the latest Honor V Purse starts at CNY 5,999 for the 16GB + 256GB variant whereas the 16GB + 512GB storage option costs CNY 6,599. The pre-booking is started in China and the device will be available for purchase from September 26 and it is worth mentioning that it will be available in limited stocks. The device is available in the colour options including Camellia Gold, Glacier Blue, and Elegant Black.
