It is simple and straightforward procedure and you can setup Windows search open Chrome and use Google search by following the steps that are listed below. So let’s look at the steps.
First of all, you need to download and install the latest version of PowerToys on your Windows PC.
After that, launch the PowerToys app and switch to the PowerToys Run module option and enable it.
This action will enable the universal search of PowerToys and now you can trigger the search by pressing the ALT + Space button.
After that, you need to make Google Chrome the default browser on your PC, if you already made it that default browser then move on. Else check out the steps to make Google Chrome as your default browser.
You need to open the Settings app and switch to the Apps.
Now you need to click on Default Apps and find Google Chrome to open it
After that, click on Set Default.
After making Google Chrome as the default web browser, you need to press the ALT + Spacebar to open the PowerToys Universal search. Now whatever you search in PowerToys universal search will be opening in Google Chrome.
Now you need to download the MSEdgeRedirect tool from GitHub.
After that, run the setup file and agree to the License terms and click Next.
Now you need to select Service Mode and click Next.
On the Additonal Redirections, you need to check all options and once installed, click Finish.
That’s it, now simply search in Windows Search and click on the Web Results, it will be opening on the Google Chrome Browser and you will be getting search results from Google search.
