Early in this year, the Taiwanese smartphone brand HTC launched two devices i.e. HTC Desire 12 and HTC Desire 12+, and today the company makes way for the devices in the Indian market. If you are unaware of the devices then here’s the refresher for you.
• HTC Desire 12:
It sports 5.5 inch HD+ display with 2.5D curved glass on top along with the trendy 18:9 aspect ratio and it has 1440 x 720 pixels resolution. It is powered by MediaTek MT6739 processor, and the device has two variants of RAM; 2/3 GB. In terms of storage options, the 2 GB RAM variant has 16 GB of internal storage and the 3 GB RAM variant is coming with the 32 GB of internal storage and the device also allow you to expand the storage via microSD card.
Coming to the photography department, it has 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a 5 megapixel front facing camera for selfies and video calls. In terms of connectivity, the device supports 4G, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and the micro USB. Moreover, the device also has the face unlock feature to give you an extended security. The device runs on Android Nougat v7.0 which is a slightly disappointing factor because it should run on the Android Oreo 8.0, as it is the latest OS, let’s hope that the company will roll out a software update, and the whole device is backed on 2,730 mAh battery.
Speaking about the pricing and availability, it is priced at ₹15,800, and the device will be available exclusively on HTC eSTORE from tomorrow. Sales of the device will start from June 11.
• HTC Desire 12+:
It sports 6 inch HD+ display with 2.5 D curved glass and the trendy 18:9 aspect ratio, and it has 1440 x 720 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 450 processor and it is paired with 3 GB RAM. In terms of storage option, the devices 32 GB internal storage in it can be expandable via microSD card.
Speaking about the camera department, the device has a dual camera setup at the back with the combination of 13 megapixel + 2 megapixel with LED flash and device also has an 8 megapixel front facing camera with LED flash. In terms of connectivity, the device also has the 4G connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro USB, and 3.5 mm headphone jack. Moreover, the device has fingerprint scanner and face unlock. The device runs on the latest Android Oreo 8.0 and it is backed on 2,965 mAh battery.
Speaking about the pricing and availability, it is priced at ₹19,790, and the device will be available exclusively on HTC eSTORE from tomorrow. Sales of the device will start on June 11.
