Back in last month, we came through a report which revealed few specification details of the HTC Desire 12. Well, now today the Taiwanese smartphone company has officially unveiled the device. The device sports metal frames along with the combination of 3D liquid glass, and it also features the trendy full-screen display.
The HTC Desire 12 is coming with 5.5 inch HD+ display with 2.5D curved glass on top along with the trendy 18:9 aspect ratio and it has 1440 x 720 pixels resolution. It is powered by MediaTek MT6739 processor, and the device has two variants of RAM; 2/3 GB. In terms of storage options, the 2 GB RAM variant has 16 GB of internal storage and the 3 GB RAM variant is coming with the 32 GB of internal storage and the device also allow you to expand the storage via microSD card.
Coming to the photography department, it has 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a 5 megapixel front facing camera for selfies and video calls. In terms of connectivity, the device supports 4G, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and the micro USB. Moreover, the device also has the face unlock feature to give you an extended security. The device runs on Android Nougat v7.0 which is a slightly disappointing factor because it should run on the Android Oreo 8.0, as it is the latest OS, let’s hope that the company will roll out a software update, and the whole device is backed on 2,730 mAh battery.
The pricing and availability details of the device have not announced yet. However, I feel that the company will launch the device with a price tag which will not cost more than ₹15,000. Share your thoughts on the device in the comment section below!
