As we are getting near to the MWC event, more and more leaks of various devices are popping out. One of those is HTC’s device. A few days back we got a leak about HTC’s mid-range desire series i.e. Desire 12. This device was supposed to be the First entry-level HTC device to sport an 18:9 display panel. Now today we got a new leak of Desire 12’s box confirming all the previously leaked specs and some new specs as well. So letās have a look at them.

Starting with the display itself, this device carries a 5.5ā 1440×720 HD+ display, which is an 18:9 panel. It comes with an unnamed MediaTek processor, mostly an old SoC. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with expandable storage upto 2TB via MicroSd Card. Talking about the camera, it will have 12MP rear facing camera with PDAF and video recording upto 1080p. The front camera is a 5MP BSI shooter, nothing special. It has a 2730 mAh battery, which is decent for a 720p display. Connectivity wise this device has 4G LTE, Dual Nano SIM support, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
So thatās all the information we have as of now. Personally speaking, I just want to see how HTC will implement the 18:9 display on their budget smartphones. Thatās because apart from new display ratio, nothing is making me excited or even happy. Surely in terms of internal specs, this will not be a 2018 smartphone.
