HTC has introduced two new smartphones today and the devices are coming with powerful specifications and beautiful designing language. The new devices are called HTC U23 and U23 Pro and the same have been launched in Taiwan. The devices are coming with the power of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile processor. Everything about HTC U23 and HTC U23 Pro
The newly announced HTC U23 and U23 Pro smartphones are coming with a 6.7-inch OLED panel with a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen and an FHD+ resolution. The devices are also coming with a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The devices are also having a side-facing fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security.
The devices are also coming with the power of the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile processor and the latest HTC U23 and U23 Pro have been optimized for HTCās metaverse, called the Viverse. The new HTC U23 series is running on the Android 13 operating system out of the box.
Speaking about the storage and memory options, the smartphone series is coming with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage and that can expend using a microSD card.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest HTC U23 series is coming with a 32-megapixel front-facing camera. While the back panel of the HTC U23 features a 64-megapixel primary camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The HTC U23 Pro is coming with an OIS-enabled 108-megapixel main camera on the back along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The HTC U23 and the HTC U23 Pro smartphones are housing a 4,600mAh battery and the devices are supporting 30W wired charging as well as 15W wireless charging. Regarding the connectivity options, the devices are supporting 5G, dual SIM, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB-C port. The devices are also having an IP67-rated chassis.
In terms of pricing and availability, the HTC U23 and U23 Pro are only available in Taiwan and there is no information about the pricing of the vanilla variant of the smartphone series but the HTC U23 Pro with B RAM + 128 GB storage is available for TWD 16,990 and 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage is having a price tag of TWD 17,990.
