The Chinese electronics giant Huawei has unveiled three new tablets that include Huawei MatePad 10.4, MatePad T 10, and MatePad T 10s along with several other products in Japan. These tablet models will replace the existing models with updated internals and features.
Huawei MatePad 10.4 Specifications

The Huawei tablet features a 10.4-inch 2K IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels. It comes with a peak brightness of 470 nits and has a screen-body ratio of 84% along with the feature that helps users to read ebooks without discomfort for a longer period of time.
It is powered by the Huawei Kirin 820 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 512GB using a microSD card. Speaking of the camera, there is an 8MP unit each on the front and back. For multimedia, the tablet comes with quad speakers tweaked by Harmon Kardon which promises surround sound.
In terms of connectivity, the Huawei MatePad 10.4 features Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi ax, GPS, GLONASS, Beidou and so on. The software is based on Android 10 with EMUI 10.1 on top and supports Huawei M-Pencil. It is backed by a 7,250 mAh battery combined with 22.5W charging. The tablet weighs 460 grams and will be available in Grey colour.

These tablets have a lot in common with differences mainly in the display. Speaking of which, the MatePad T 10 features a 9.7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels. On the other hand, the MatePad T 10s, sports a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. Both tablets are powered by an octa-core Kirin 710A SoC paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB storage. Further, the storage can be expanded to 512GB via a microSD card.
In terms of camera, both tablets sport a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP selfie camera. Coming to the sensors, the MatePad T 10 cut corners on Ambient light, and proximity sensors and the MatePad T 10s has speakers tuned by Harmon Kardon. It is backed by a 5,100 mAh battery. It runs EMUI 10.1 OS based on Android 10. Both tablets weigh 450 grams and are made with an aluminium alloy body.
Pricing and Availability
The Huawei MatePad 10.4 and 64GB internal storage will be sold for JPY 33,880($313) and the Huawei MatePad 10.4 with 32GB memory will retail for JPY 23,980($220). Finally, the Huawei MatePad T 10s with 32GB memory will have a price tag of JPY 27,280($252). All models will only have Wi-Fi connectivity. All models will be available for purchase from April 23.
