The Chinese telecommunication giant Huawei has officially introduced its latest Huawei Nova 13 series which includes the vanilla variant and the Pro variant. The company has introduced the latest Huawei Nova 13 series with beautiful design along with the power of the HarmonyOS and it also comes with lots of AI features among others. Everything about Huawei Nova 13 series
The newly introduced Huawei Nova 13 features a 6.7-inch OLED flat screen with 2412×1084 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device also comes with a 300Hz touch sampling rate and 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming for eye comfort. The device is capable to offer 1.07 billion colors and uses reinforced lithium-silicon-aluminum glass for durability. On the other hand, the Huawei Nova 13 Pro sports a 6.76-inch OLED quad-curved screen with 2776×1224 pixels resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. The device has the PWM dimming frequency of 2160Hz and it also comes with the same display protection as the vanilla variant.
Under the hood, both devices are powered by the Kirin 8000 mobile processor along with 12GB of RAM; LPDDR4X for the Nova 13, and LPDDR5 for the Nova 13 Pro. In terms of storage, the devices come with up to 1TB of internal storage. The devices run on the HarmonyOS 4.2 out of the box.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Huawei Nova 13 smartphone features a 50MP RYYB main sensor with dual OIS along with an 8MP ultra-wide macro lens and a 2cm macro lens. The device also features a 60MP front camera. While the Huawei Nova 13 Pro comes with a 60MP front portrait camera, which includes a 5x zoom lens and QPD for precise focusing. The device also has a 50MP ultra-variable anti-shake lens, a 12MP 3x telephoto portrait lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide macro lens. It also features a physical variable aperture from f1.4 to f4.0.
The devices are also integrated with Huawei’s Da Vinci Portrait Engine 2.0 and the same will be offering intelligent enhancements for skin tone, texture, and background bokeh effects. Both devices come with AI features including AI Best Expression, AI Upscaling, AI Object Removal, and AI Smart Cutout.
Huawei has introduced the latest Huawei Nova 13 series with a 5000mAh silicon-carbon negative electrode battery that supports 100W Turbo fast charging. The devices also feature under-screen fingerprint sensors. The devices support NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, and stereo speakers. It also supports Beidou satellite communication technology as well.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Huawei Nova 13 starts at 2,699 yuan while the Pro model is priced at 3,699 yuan for the base model. The devices will be available in China from October 25.
