The Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei has officially introduced it’s first commercial PC under the Qingyun series, dubbed the HM940 and the device runs on the company’s own HarmonyOS out of the box. The keyboard of the device also features a distinct AI key.

It features a 14.2-inch OLED anti-reflective display along with 3120 x 2080 pixels resolution and peak brightness up to 1000 nits. The device also features a 93% screen-to-body ratio, full sRGB coverage, and a P3 wide color gamut. The device also supports touch input with 10-point recognition.
The company did not reveal anything about the processor of the latest Huawei Qingyun HM940 but the device comes with Huawei’s Super Celia Business AI suite that includes tools like automated PPT and mind map generation, image-based text extraction, voice commands, and app syncing with Huawei phones.
It also features “Hand-eye Coordination” and the same will enable the keyboard and cursor to follow your gaze across connected devices, and the device features a “Super Privacy Switch”. This particular button will be disabling the camera, microphone, and location with a physical toggle.
The laptop comes with a 70Wh lithium polymer battery along with fast charging with a 140W dual-core charger. The device also includes two USB-C ports (10W max output) and one USB-C port (66W output). There laptop is available in different storage options including 24GB or 32GB of RAM and either 512GB or 1TB of internal storage. The laptop also supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.2, and Nearlink. The sound system includes six speakers and four microphones, powered by Huawei SOUND. There is no information about the pricing and availability of the laptop at the moment of time.
