Huawei to start manufacturing its Smartphone and other accessories in India which will further reduce the cost and improve the quality to meet consumer needs.
Huawei’s Global Vice President Jim Xu revealed “We look at India strategically and now intend to grow our presence in the country by launching devices for the middle and premium price segments” Huawei is the second largest smartphone brand in the World and Indian market is always a preferred place for Huawei to give its product a spin after China.
Huawei smartphones are cheaper and value for money. Xiaomi and Huawei are direct competitors in Midrange and Entry level premium segment devices. Samsung has unveiled its world’s largest manufacturing unit in India recently. While Xiaomi and other manufacturers started manufacturing their smartphones in India, Huawei also goes the way. Apart from Manufacturing units, Huawei also plans to increase the number of retail shops and in the next 2 to 3 years, Huawei to invest in 1000 more stores for offline markets for both smartphones and Accessories!
