Huawei has expanded its Y-series by launching Huawei Y9 Prime (2019), and the smartphone features a pop-up camera setup. It becomes the second device of the company to feature the pop-up camera after Huawei P Smart Z.
Specifications of Huawei Y9 Prime (2019)
The device features a 6.59 inch full HD+ display with 2340 X 1080 pixels resolution, along with 19:5:9 and 391ppi pixel density. Under the hood, the device is powered by Kirin 710 octa-core chipset and paired with 4GB RAM along with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU. In terms of storage, the device will available in two storage variants – 64GB and 128GB.
Moving to the photography department, the Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) rocks triple rear camera setup and that’s in the combination of 16 MP f/1.8 + 8 MP ultra wide-angle lens + 2 MP f/2.4 depth-sensing, the device also features 16 MP pop-up selfie camera. The smartphone supports the fingerprint scanner and face unlock.
Regarding the connectivity, it supports Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS + GLONASS. The device runs EMUI 9 user interface based on Android 9 Pie operating system and backed by a 4000 mAh battery.
