Last week, the leading social media network Twitter sold its office assets to tackle with its financial crisis and also to get back on the track with some money in the pocket.
The company sold the office assets via an online auction and the highest bid was placed for the iconic Twitter Blue Bird Statue and the same was sold for a whopping $100000. While the 190cm unique planter box designed in the shape of the @ symbol received $15000.
The custom reclaimed wood conference room table of the headquarter of Twitter was sold for $10,500, the La Marzocco espresso machine which retails for $30,000 but got only $13,500. The Moulded Plywood Eames Chair by designer Herman Miller which retails for $1195 but was sold for $1400
Twitter has also shoulder assets including cycle-powered chargings stations, standing desks, Google Jamboards, designer furniture, and more.
