Just a couple of days ago, we are updated that the Indian government is planning to ban the Chinese Smartphones under ₹12000 and the Government of the country was planning to do so to help the domestic Smartphone manufacturers. It was a disappointing piece of information as well but today we got a new piece of information that is suggesting that the planning is not going to happen.
As we know that the Chinese plans offer cheaper smartphones and the same are popular in the region as well. The domestic brands are not able to compete with the Chinese brands and that’s why the government was planning to make a new proposal but today we got a new piece of information that is suggesting the government has no immediate plans to ban the Chinese smartphones with the cheaper price tag.
The report also says that even if such a ban is conceptualized by the government, actually enforcing it is a different task entirely.
