Instagram and Snapchat added Diwali-special stickers and lenses. Instagram has released three new stickers. When Instagram users post stories with stickers, they will also be visible to their followers in the Diwali-special multi-author story.
The Snapchat has added new AR lenses, cameos, stickers and bitmoji to celebrate Diwali. Four Diwali sketches have been added to the Color Together game app on Snapchat.
Instagram on Monday announced the launch of three new stickers on its photo-sharing platform. The new stickers are part of the company’s global campaign for Diwali called #ShareYourLight.
Instagram Diwali Special Stickers: How to use
- Open Instagram, capture or upload content on story.
- Tap on the ‘Stickers’ icon from the navigation bar at the top
- Select and place new Diwali theme stickers in the story
- Tap on your stories to post on your profile or choose to share with close friends.
Instagram says it will start making new stickers available to all users from today. The multi-hatcher story feature will go live on Tuesday, November 2nd.
As mentioned, Snapchat is also launching new AR lenses, guest costumes, stickers and games ahead of Diwali. When the user turns it on, the new lens lights up the screen with fireworks. Users can add custom Diwali designs like lights and fireworks to the Snape map. Snapchat lenses have been launched to celebrate the five days of Bhai Dooj, Govardhan Pooja, Dhanteras, Chhoti Diwali and Diwali.
Users can share Diwali theme versions of popular cartoon lenses on Snapchat. Additionally, a desi music playlist will allow users to add awesome tunes to their snaps. Snapchat users can customize their Bitmoji avatar with Diwali sweets and Hindi Bitmoji stickers. Additionally, users of the app will have access to hyperlocal geofilters across 20 Indian cities.
