It seems that the developers of Instagram now more concerned about the privacy of our users, as we know recently they rolled out a new feature which will allow you to get notified when someone capture or screen record your stories. Well, now the developers rolled out new control in the Replay feature which in the Instagram Direct.
We know if we send a story a to the Instagram direct then the receiver can replay it until the story disappears, and it is huge privacy threat because someone can easily capture that particular story. But now with the latest update, the developers give more controls in this area, the app has introduced three new options – View Once, Allow Replay and Keep in Chat.
‘View Once’
This option prevents the receiver from replaying the message and he/she can able to see it only once.
‘Allow Replay’
With this option, the receiver can replay the photo/video one more time before it disappears.
‘Keep in Chat’
This option will retain a preview image of the photo/video in the chat.
