Intel has officially announced its new Intel Core Ultra 200 HX, H, and U Series CPUs during the CES 2025 event. The new chipsets feature improvements and more power. So let’s get into the article to check out the full details.
Everything about the new Intel Core Ultra 200 series
The newly announced Intel Core Ultra 200V processors feature a new variant with Intel vPro and these chips are designed for professional-grade IT systems with advanced security. It is also supporting Microsoft Pluton which will protect sensitive data by creating an isolated platform on the system. The Intel Core Ultra 200V vPro processors also support cloud-based device management and the new chips gang offer improved battery life.
While the Intel Core Ultra 200HX and 200H are performance-centric processors and the HX chips come with up to 28 cores, the new H chips feature up to 16 cores. While the HX chips are fully unlocked for overclocking of both P-cores and E-cores. It also features XMP for DDR5 SoDIMM overclocking and Intel Extreme Tuning Utility for one-click overclocking.
On the other hand, the latest Intel Core Ultra 200U is meant for daily usage and the same consume less power compared to the H and HX chips. The chipsets feature upto 12 cores using a combination of P-cores, E-cores, and LPE-cores.
Speaking about the availability, the latest Intel 200V vPro chips are already available to OEMs. The Core Ultra 200H and 200U processors will be available from February 2025. The top-end Core Ultra 200HX chips will be available in the first half of 2025 in the global markets.
