After revealing the design language of the upcoming iQOO 16 flagship smartphone last week, the company has now officially confirmed more display details of the device. Let’s get into the article to check out the details.
iQOO has officially confirmed that the upcoming iQOO 16 will be the world’s first smartphone with a 2K 165Hz display. The panel uses Samsung’s latest 2K LEAD 2.0 technology, which was developed jointly by the two brands.
The device will also feature Samsung’s M16 luminescent material, a custom high-refresh-rate IC designed for the panel, and a dedicated production line for iQOO’s flagship phones.
It will also come with 1.24 times P3 gamut coverage, along with screen-by-screen calibration. The device will be introduced with the company’s own color and brightness compensation algorithm to calibrate the display at the sub-pixel level. It is also said that the device will come with a color accuracy of ±0.001.
The company has also said that the upcoming device will feature a 100% first-frame brightness ratio, which it claims is the highest in the industry. The device features a new touch chip with 5000Hz instantaneous touch sampling and 500Hz multi-finger sampling. It also comes with iQOO’s Q-flex control technology that will be reducing input latency between the user’s touch and the action on screen.
