iQOO is gearing up to launch its latest and greatest iQOO series and the smartphone series will include iQOO 8, 8 Pro. Before the official announcement of the smartphones, the specification details surfaced online. According to the source, the upcoming iQOO 8 Pro will have a 6.78-inch Samsung’s AMOLED E5 display with a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen and curved edges. It is also said that the upcoming device will support 2K resolution. The device will have a 4,500mAh battery with 120W fast charge support along with 50W wireless charging.
It is also said that the upcoming smartphone will feature a triple camera setup on the back that will be the combination of a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX766) main camera with gimbal stabilization along with a 48-megapixel (Sony IMX598) ultrawide camera and a 16-megapixel telephoto snapper with OIS support. The device will also feature an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, X-axis linear motor, and Hi-Fi audio chip.Â
The previous reports said that the device will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset, along with up to 12 GB of RAM and 4 GB of extended RAM, the device will also offer up to 256 GB of internal storage, and OriginOS based Android 11.
On the other hand iQOO 8, the smartphone is reported to feature a flat display along with a Full HD+ resolution. It is backed by a 4,350mAh battery that supports 120W rapid charging.
The smartphone is also said to feature a 48-megapixel (Sony IMX598) + 13-megapixel (ultrawide) + 13-megapixel (telephoto) camera setup on the back. The device will also support an optical in-screen fingerprint scanner and dual X-axis linear motor.Â
