iQoo 9 and iQoo 9 Pro have been launched in the market of China and the devices are coming with the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC along with an amazing camera setup. The devices are running on Android 12 out of the box.
iQOO 9
The latest smartphone features a 6.78-inch full-HD+ Samsung E5 OLED display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The device is also featuring a punch hole setup at the centre position of the screen. iQoo 9 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC along with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage
Speaking about the camera department, the latest iQoo 9 features a triple rear camera setup and that is in the combination of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with a Samsung GN5 1/1.57 sensor that is also featuring optical image stabilisation (OIS), followed by a 13-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 120-degree field-of-view and a 12-megapixel camera for portrait images. The device is also featuring a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security. The smartphone is backed by a 4,700mAh battery with 120W fast charging and the device is running on Android 12 out of the box.
iQOO 9 Pro
The device features a curved 6.78-inch Quad-HD+ Samsung E5 10-bit LTPO 2.0 display with 3200 X 1440 pixels resolution along with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 360Hz. The smartphone comes with upto 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
It is also coming with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, along with a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera with a 150-degree field-of-view, and a 16-megapixel portrait camera. At the front, iQoo 9 Pro features a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Everything remains the same as the vanilla variant.
Pricing and availability
The new iQoo 9 is priced at RMB 3,999 for the 8GB + 256GB storage option while the 12GB + 256GB storage variant is coming with a price tag of RMB 4,399 and a 12GB + 512GB storage priced at RMB 4,799. On the other hand, iQoo 9 Pro pricing starts at RMB 4,999 for the base 8GB + 256GB storage, 12GB + 256GB storage variant priced at RMB 5,499, and a 12GB + 512GB storage model priced at RMB 5,999. The devices are available in the market of China and there is no information about availability in other parts of the world.
