Early this month, the Chinese smartphone brand Vivo’s new sub-brand iQOO unveiled its first smartphone and the device called the iQOO Smartphone, which is one of the coolest gaming Smartphone and coming with killer specifications along with the cool design.
The device is currently available in its homeland which means only available in the Chinese market and today got a new report which suggests that the company is gearing up to launch the device into the Indian market and the smartphone will go official in India by the month of June.
Having said that, the newbie of Vivo is targeting to give a head to head competition against the popular flagship makers OnePlus in the Indian market, and we can expect an aggressive pricing setup. Specifications of iQOO Smartphone
Before I explain the specification details of the device, let me say that it is a gaming smartphone and it is packed with all the monster specifications which a gamer would dream to have. The iQOO Smartphone sports a 6.41 inch Super AMOLED display along with the waterdrop-like notch on the top of the display. The device is powered by the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and paired with 12 GB of RAM along with 256 GB of internal storage, the device also has few more variants which comes with 8 GB RAM with 256 GB storage, 8 GB RAM with 128 GB of storage and 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
The device also features the “super liquid cooling” which brings a vapor chamber, and this will not allow to heat the smartphone. There are also plenty of features to boost performance, such as AI Turbo, Center Turbo, Net Turbo, Cooling Turbo, and Game Turbo, neatly wrapped in one service called Multi-Turbo. And that will boost app startup by 30%, frame rate with over 70%, and automatic switch between Wi-Fi and 4G for the non-stop gaming. Cool isn’t?
Moving to the photography department, the iQOO Smartphone rocks triple rear cameras and that’s in the combination of 13 MP wide-angle lens and Sony IMX263 sensor, a main 12 MP shooter with vivo’s own dual-pixel technology and a 2 MP depth sensor. Along with 12 MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The device also supports the in-display fingerprint scanner to give the maximum layer of security to the users.
Regarding the connectivity options, the iQOO Smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C, and NFC.
iQOO Smartphone runs on FunTouch OS 9 based on Android 9 Pie, and the smartphone ships on 4,000 mAh battery and supports Vivo’s 44W SuperFlash charging technology, claims to fully charge the device in 45 minutes. That said, this feature is not supported on the 6 RAM and 128GB storage variant.
