Today the iQOO Z7 Pro smartphone was announced in the Indian market and the company has also introduced the latest iQOO Z8 and the Z8x smartphones in the market of China. Both devices are coming with an identical design but different specifications. iQOO Z8 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor whereas the Z8x is equipped with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. The former features a 64 megapixel primary sensor while the later variant offers a 50 megapixel primary sensor. Everything about iQOO Z8 and Z8x
The latest iQOO Z8 and Z8x smartphones feature a slim profile and the smartphone series features a 6.64-inch display with a punch-hole setup at the centre position of the screen and an FHD+ resolution as well as a 120Hz refresh rate.
Speaking about the camera department, the iQOO Z8 features a 64MP OIS-enabled main sensor along with a 2MP depth sensor on the back and Z8x features a 50MP main lens and a 2MP bokeh sensor. The devices come with 16MP and 8MP selfie snappers respectively.
Under the hood, the iQOO Z8 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor while the Z8x comes with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. Both devices come with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The devices also feature a VC cooling chamber for heat dissipation. The vanilla model houses a massive 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging whereas the Z8x houses a 6,000mAh battery along with 44W charging. The smartphone series is running on Android 13 with OriginOS 3 out of the box.
The devices support 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB-C port among others for connectivity. The devices feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest iQOO Z8 is having starting price of CNY 1,699 for the base 8GB+256GB option whereas the 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB are priced at CNY 1,799 and CNY 1,999 respectively. While the Z8x comes with 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB+ 256GB RAM and storage options at CNY 1,299, CNY 1,399, and CNY 1,499. The devices will be available in the market of China from September 7.
