Back in October last year, Jio introduced its first ever laptop dubbed the JioBook in the market of India but the same was limited to government officials. Then it was listed on the official store of Reliance and today the company has officially confirmed the launching date of the laptop for all the users of the country.
Jio has officially confirmed that the device will be available from July 31 in the market of India. As the device was originally announced last year, we already know the specs.
Specifications of JioBook
The newly announced JioBook laptop is coming with a plastic body and the back panel of the device is having the Jio branding. It is also featuring the inbuilt 4G LTE support.
It is offering an 11.6-inch TN display with an HD resolution. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset along with Adreno 610GPU. The chipset is paired with 2GB of LPDDR4X RAM (not expandable) and 32GB of internal storage. The device is running on JioOS.
The JioBook features a dual speaker setup along with dual microphones and the device is also featuring a two-in-one combo port. It is also coming with a USB 2.0 port, a USB 3.0 port, and an HDMI port. The laptop supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and features a Micro SD card slot. Regarding the pricing, JioBook is priced at ₹15,799.
