According to iQOO Flagship Series Product Manager Wang Ken, the upcoming device will be coming with an improved display as he has highlighted the importance of display brightness in everyday smartphone use, particularly across different viewing conditions. The top most executive has explained that balancing brightness, power consumption and long-term endurance has traditionally been difficult, but the smartphone brand addressed this particular problem with the 2K LEAD OLED panels used on the iQOO 15 and iQOO 15 Ultra.
He says that the technology has managed to strike a strong balance between these factors and it is continuously going ahead of competing display solutions. He then teased that the upcoming iQOO 16 flagship smartphone will take things even further.
