Microsoft has announced the end of the Windows 10 operating system era by announcing the last update and the same is the upcoming 22H2 version. The update will be the last for all editions of Windows 10 22H2, including Home, Pro, Enterprise, Education, Pro Education, Workstation Pro, and IoT Enterprise.
Microsoft will be offering monthly updates to all the versions until October 14, 2025. Moreover, Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC) releases will continue to receive updates according to their specific lifecycle. Windows 10 LTSC editions, for instance, will end mainstream support in January 2027 but not for IoT Enterprise, which will receive support until January 2032.
