The Indian smartphone brand Lava promised to launch the new Lava Virat V1 and Lava Virat V1 5G phones in India on July 21 but the company has now reschedued the launch to July 24 without revealing the reason behind it. It is confirmed that the upcoming Lava Virat V1 5G will be powered by the Unisoc T8200 mobile processor along with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device will be running on the Android 16 operating system out of the box without ads or bloatware. The device will be coming with a 6.75″ HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also confirmed that the phone will house a large 6,000 mAh battery.
The upcoming Lava Virat V1 5G will come with a 13MP primary camera and there is no information about the secondary camera of the device. It will also feature a 5MP camera on the front. The new Lava V1 5G will also be IP64-rated and come in two colors including Arya Blue and Sonar Gold.
While the Lava Virat V1 smartphone will come with the power of the Unisoc SC9863A mobile processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It will be running on the Android 15 Go Edition operating system out of the box.
It will be housing a 5,000 mAh battery along with a 13MP dual-camera setup, and a 5MP selfie camera. The device will be coming with an IP64 rating. The device will also feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device will be available in Nilgiri Blue and Himalayan Silver colour options.
