The Lenovo Legion 5i Gen 11 comes with a 15.3-inch OLED panel with 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio along with a 165Hz refresh rate and a stated sub-1ms response time. The device also features 500 nits for standard use but is VESA Display HDR True Black 1000 certified that means it can offer up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness when displaying HDR content. The display of the laptop also covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and it also supports Nvidia G-Sync.
Lenovo has launched the device with the power of an Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX processor, which features 18 cores and 18 threads. It also comes with an Nvidia RTX 5060 laptop GPU with 8GB of GDDR7 memory, running at a 115W maximum power limit. The base variant which is launched in the United States has 16GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD.
The device also features a thermal system it calls Coldfront: Hyper, which relies on dual fans and copper heat pipes to route air through a dedicated internal chamber. The laptop houses an 80Wh battery to keep the lights on.
It features a Thunderbolt 4 port and a standard 10Gbps USB-C port, both of which support up to 100W power delivery and DisplayPort 2.1 along with three USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 output, and an Ethernet jack.
