The Chinese electronics giant Lenovo has introduced several new products during the ongoing CES 2023 and one of them is dubbed the Lenovo Tab Extreme. The device is powered by the MediaTek chipset and it is having a massive battery on the board. Lenovo Tab Extreme
The newly announced Lenovo Tab Extreme features a 14.5-inch OLED display along with 3000 x 1876 pixels resolution and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also supporting Dolby Vision and HDR10+. The device features the Precision Pen 3 and the Tab Extreme Keyboard as well as the Tab Extreme Folio which is need to be purchased separately.
The Lenovo Tab Extreme is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset along with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage that can be expandable using a micro SD card. The device is housing a massive 12,300mAh battery along with a 68W charger.
Speaking about the camera department, the Lenovo Tab Extreme features a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an RGB sensor on the front while the back panel of the device is featuring a 13-megapixel main camera with autofocus support and a 5-megapixel fixed-focus auxiliary camera.
Regarding the connectivity options, the Lenovo Tab Extreme supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port. The device is also featuring octa JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the Lenovo Tab Extreme will be official with a price tag of $1,199 and it will be official in the market of the United States later this year.
Lenovo Smart Paper
Along with the tablet, the company has also introduced Lenovo Smart Paper Tablet and the same features a 10.3-inch E-Ink display along with 1872 x 1404 pixels resolution and 227 PPI pixel density. It is also featuring 24 brightness levels with 24 adjustable temperature zones.
The device is also supporting a battery-less stylus and the EMR pen technology having 4,096 pressure levels with tilt detection. The tablet is powered by a Rockchip RK3566 chipset along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The newly announced Lenovo Smart Paper Pen which is bundled with the device is designed to minimize lag, offering latency as low as 23 milliseconds. The pen is having different settings including pencil, ballpoint, and marker, as well as several notepad templates, including a blank slate, lined paper, and music manuscript.
Lenovo Smart Paper is capable to convert handwritten notes into text and the device will enable for keyword searches as well. It is also supporting to organizing notes, placing them in folders, and deleting them. It also comes with access to millions of ebooks and searches saved books and articles. The device is also supporting for voice recording and writing notes at the same time.
It is also coming with an application for smartphones and computers which is capable to translate text and audio recordings into other languages. It is running on Android 11 out of the box and the device supports Bluetooth 5.2 BLE and Wi-Fi 802.11 ac. It is claimed that the device can offer 7,000 pages of reading or 170 pages of note-taking on a single charge.
