Gaming laptops are characterized by their strong hardware lineup and high charging rating. It’s common to see laptops with 100W or 200W charging speeds these days, but not many bricks with such power ratings.
Chinese tech company Lenovo has unveiled a charging adapter with a high power rating. The Lenovo Legion C135 Gallium Nitride Type-C charger is ideal for charging the latest Legion gaming notebooks.
The new Lenovo 135W Gallium Nitride Type-C charger has a maximum output of 135W, but can also charge other gadgets that do not require a high power output. The adapter has a single USB-C port.
It deploys gallium nitride technology with casing made from UL94-V0 grade fire-resistant and high temperature resistant materials. The energy conversion efficiency is over 92% and it has excellent temperature control.
In terms of performance, the charger uses a third-generation GaN chip with a power density greater than 1W / CC. It passes through the upper limit of PD3.0 100W and the maximum output of one port is 135W.
Like other GaN chargers on the market, Xiaomi’s 55W GaN charger is made of gallium nitride semiconductors. The use of this gallium nitride semiconductor materials has the advantages of super thermal conductivity, temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance.
The new Lenovo C135 GaN charging adapter comes in black and white. At the same time there is no information yet about price and availability.
