If you recall, at the MWC event at Barcelona, LG’s next flagship device was allegedly spotted that’s named as LG G7 Neo. We got to know about some of it’s specs as well as live images. There were some previous rumours as well which said that LG might skip ‘G’ line-up and their only flagship series would be the ‘V’ series. Now with LG G7 Neo leak, we had clues that this rumour might become wrong, and with today’s latest leak, we are almost sure on this. So let’s have a look.
A new report suggests that LG will launch their new flagship device of 2018 sometimes in later April or early May. This time there will be two flagships i.e. LG G7 and LG G7 Plus. Recently a new leak which suggested that the next LG flagship will have AI Camera functionality and iPhone X like notch. Now today’s leak also suggests that same and that’s going to be the LG G7 and G7 Plus. Talking about pricing this LG G7 is supposed to be around USD 94 higher than it’s predecessor. There will be 16MP (most probably another 16MP) Dual Rear Camera Setup with AI functionalities within it, same as LG V30S which was announced recently. But they also suggest LG will improve the AI functionalities with LG G7.
This report also claims that LG might skip their G & V line-up in next year, but in 2018 we will see both LG G7 and LG V40. Other specs include Hi-fi Quad DAC for immersive audio experience, latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 4GB or mostly 6GB of RAM and 3000mAh battery. The battery is supposed to be more efficient despite having an average capacity.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. I guess that the main difference between LG G7 and LG G7 Plus is going to be in terms of storage capacities, both internal storage and RAM.
