The popular F1 team McLaren has teamed up with HTC for VR products as a multiyear partnership for VR esports programme.
To improve VR and AR experience, the team has announced this partnership. This agreement has made after McLaren’s successful World’s Fastest Gamer Competition. Rudy Van Buren is selected as the winner, which made him as official simulator driver for the team. Both the team has revealed the entire experiences they have been planning to give. Watching an F1 race in 360-degree will be awesome experience Right?
Formula one team has also signed up for the nine real-world F1 teams. As we know, Vive headset is the major eyecatcher in the VR segment. Combining futuristic visual technology with the Race world champions to create a masterpiece of Visual treat is great to watch. Now being official VR partner for a mountain view company McLaren will give a lot of chances and opportunities for HTC as the company has been improving its technological sides apart from giving out Flagship smartphones and other consumers electronics.
Currently, we are not aware of the cars which McLaren team has used for these experiences. However, in coming months, we expect a lot of information regarding the combo would emerge.
