Cai Lixing the CEO of MediaTek has officially revealed that the chipset company will be launching the first 5G mmWave (millimeter-wave) mobile SoC and that will be announced next year.
It is also revealed that the upcoming chipset will be paired with a Wi-Fi 7 solution. The topmost executive also suggests that MediaTek has received major capacity support next year from its foundries, back-end packaging, and substrate partners, and the shipment situation will be stable next year.
