The newly announced Dimensity 7300 series is the octa-core chipset with a peak clock speed of 2.5GHz and the series also features four Cortex A78 cores at 2.5GHz, four Cortex A55 cores at 2.0GHz, and an ARM Mali G615 MC2 GPU. It is worth mentioning that the latest MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC is supporting dual display.
The chipset series comes with LPDDR4x, LPDDR5 memory along with up to 6400Mbps, and the series also comes with UFS 3.1 storage standard. MediaTek is offering the new chipset series with the MediaTek Imagiq 950 ISP along with up to 200MP sensor, 4K 30fps (3840 x 2160) video capturing, Hardware face detection, Hardware MCNR, 4K video HDR, Video EIS, All-pixel AF, Dual simultaneous video capture, AI-3A with AE, AWB, and AF.
The chipsets feature MediaTek MiraVision 955, Full HD+ with 144Hz refresh rate, WFHD+ with 120Hz refresh rate, and Dual Displays capability is available only on the 7300X. The chipset series also features MediaTek 6th generation APU 655. Regarding the connectivity options, it features 2G / 3G / 4G / 5G Multi-Mode, 4G Carrier Aggregation (CA), 5G Carrier Aggregation (CA), Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6E, GPS, BeiDou, Glonass, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC.
It is expected that the upcoming Moto Razr 50 clamshell foldable devices will come with the power of the latest Dimensity 7300X mobile processor while the Oppo Reno 12 5G global variant will be official with the Dimensity 7300.
