MediaTek has introduced its new flagship mobile processor called the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus and the same is coming with upgraded CPU and GPU performance. So let’s get into the article to check out the complete details of the new mobile processor.
The latest MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus features an impressive octa-core configuration, with the Cortex-X3 serving as the primary core, 3 x Cortex-A715 performance cores, and 4 x Cortex A-510 power-saving cores. The clock speed of all cores of the chipset is 3.35 GHz, 3 GHz, and 2 GHz, respectively.
It is built on TSMC’s 4 nm fabrication node and the mobile processor features an ARM Immortalis G715 GPU with a peak frequency increase of 15% from the previous generation. It is also supporting MediaTek‘s HyperEngine 6.0 technology, and the chipset also supports the MediaTek Game Adaptive Control Technology (MAGT).
MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus is also coming with a sixth-generation AI Processing Unit (APU 690) along with a MediaTek Imagiq 890 image signal processor, MediaTek MiraVision 890, and MediaTek 5G UltraSave 3.0. The mobile processor is also supporting a 4CC-CA 5G Release-16 modem that can switch between sub-6GHz and mmWave connections along with Wi-Fi 7 22 + 22 with a data throughput of up to 6.5Gbps, as well as Bluetooth 5.3. It is also supporting up to two 5K resolution displays at 60Hz, WHQD at 144Hz, and FHD at 240Hz.
It is confirmed that the popular Chinese smartphone brand iQOO will be the first to launch a smartphone with the power of the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus mobile processor. And the device will be called the iQOO Neo 8 Pro.
