MediaTek is the very popular mobile chipset maker and it is the king of the budget and mid range segment as well. More and more smartphone brands are adopting the chipset from MediaTek. Now the company is expected to launch the Dimensity 9300 mobile processor and the same is said to be manufactured using TSMC’s N4P process.
It is also expected that the mobile processor will be co-developed by Vivo and MediaTek and the mobile processor could be official with the upcoming Vivo X100 smartphone.
The report is also suggesting that the upcoming Dimensity 9300 will be coming with an 11% increase in performance compared to N5, a 6% improvement compared to N4, a 22% improvement in power efficiency, and a 6% increase in transistor density.
It is also said that the upcoming mobile processor is designed with an ultra-large core + big core + small core layout. The upcoming Dimensity 9300 is also expected to be announced in the second half of this year and the same will give a head to head competition against the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
