The popular chipset MediaTek has unveiled its processor and the same is dubbed as Helio G70, and this will allow brands to power up the entry-level gaming phones along with affordable mid-range devices as well. So, let’s check out the complete details of the newly unveiled chip.
Everything about Helio G70
The all new Helio G70 is powered by two Cortex-A75 cores at 2GHz, along with six A55 cores, and the same is also coming with the support of the eMMC 5.1 which means the devices with the power of G70 will not have fast UFS storage. It will also support up to 1080 pixels resolution along with a 21:9 aspect ratio.
Moreover, it also supports Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU for the graphical task which runs at 820Mhz. The chip also features CorePilot which will offer a consistent performance even during extended gaming sessions. The Helio G70 also supports Voice on Wakeup which will enable the voice assistants with minimal power use.
Speaking about the camera department, the new Helio G70 supports a single 48MP camera (Quad Bayer) or a dual 16MP sensors. It can offer depth maps within hardware and there is NeuroPilot for AI tasks such as object and scene recognition, as well as the bokeh enhancement.
Talking about the connectivity options, the chip supports dual 4G VoLTE and 300Mbps downlink, along with Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 5.0. Speaking about the availability of the new processor, it is expected to debut with the new Redmi 9 which is expected to launch in the Q1 of 2020.
