The popular mobile chipset maker MediaTek has officially introduced its new mid-range processor called Dimensity 8050 and the same is coming with good performance capability and offers a 200 megapixel primary sensor. Everything about Dimensity 8050
The newly announced Dimensity 8050 mobile processor is fabricated on a 6nm processor and the same features an octa-core CPU with four performance Arm Cortex-A78 processors along with the capability to offer peak speeds of 3GHz. It is also coming with a 5G modem and an octa-core architecture.
The processor is having four fast Cortex-A78 cores, which include a Super Core clocked at up to 3GHz, and three Performance Cores at up to 2.6Ghz. It is also coming with four efficient Cortex-A55 cores as well. The chipset is supporting up to 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
Dimensity 8050 is also coming with Arm Mali-G77 GPU with nine cores dedicated to graphics and the latest Dimensity 8050 supports 4K video capture as well.
It is coming with the support to capture images up to 200MP with 20% faster night photography than the previous Dimensity series. It is also capable to offer Full HD+ displays with up to 168Hz or higher resolution QHD+ displays up to 90Hz. It also supports MediaTek MiraVision and the same can offer various HDR video playback and display technologies.
Having said that, the new mobile processor has made its debut on the recently announced Tecno Camon 20 Premier smartphone.
