Meizu has officially confirmed the launch date of its new flagship smartphone dubbed the Meizu 22 for the markets of China. The device was on the headlines for the past few weeks and it was expected to be announced earlier. It is announced that the device will be launched in the markets of China on September 15 and the company has confirmed that the upcoming Meizu 22 will come with a 6.32-inch display. The company says that the size of the device is a golden balance between compact form factor and immersive viewing.
The upcoming device is also confirmed to be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 mobile processor and the same is said to come with special tuning for gaming stability.
It will also come with AI powered One Mind optimization engines, TÜV Rheinland 72-month fluency certification, and game smoothness S-grade recognition. The company will launch the device with a 4,500mm² vapour chamber cooling system, which is one of the largest for its size category.
The upcoming Meizu 22 smartphone will come with a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50D camera on the front while the back of the phone will feature a triple-lens configuration that will be in the combination of an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H main sensor, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with OIS support, and a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50D ultra-wide lens.
It will come with AI features including one-click filter extraction and the feature will enable you to generate distinctive visual effects instantly. The upcoming device is confirmed to come with a weight of 190 grams and has a slim 8.15mm profile.
