After making a delay in launch, the new Meizu 22 smartphone is officially launched and the device has the power of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 mobile processor along with Flyme AIOS ecosystem. The device weighs 190 grams and it is 8.15mm thick. The device features a 2.5D micro-arc front and a slim 1.2mm four-sided bezel. The newly announced Meizu 22 features a 6.3-inch display along with 1.5K resolution and a 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The device also supports peak brightness up to 6000 nits and covers the full DCI-P3 color gamut. The display is integrated with “RuRan Eye Protection Technology,” which combines hardware-level low blue light and DC dimming for reduced eye strain.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Meizu 22 features a 50MP wide-angle (OV50H, 1/1.3-inch sensor, f/1.68, OIS) along with a 50MP 3x periscope telephoto (Sony IMX882, OIS, 15cm tele-macro), 50MP ultra-wide (OV50D, 122° FoV, f/2.0, 2.5cm macro), and a 50MP selfie camera (OV50D, AI face rejuvenation, HDR for backlit selfies).
The latest Meizu 22 has the power of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip along with up to 16 GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The device has a 4500mm² VC liquid cooling system. It houses a 5,500mAh battery, with 80W wired charging and 66W wireless charging. The device runs on the Android operating system with Flyme AIOS 2 along with AI features including AI drawing, AI filters, pedestrian removal, glare reduction, and moiré removal. Small Window Mode 5.0, Game Assistant, and Smart Travel. If you are using a car then the Flyme Auto 2 is available and the same offers deeper integration with Meizu’s ecosystem, while Flyme Link handles device-to-car connectivity.
