It’s time for the Android One midrange smartphone launch by Xiaomi, and we have already seen some rumours and leaks about the device. We know that Xiaomi might launch two different smartphones in this series, Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite. Recently a leak suggested that the Mi A3 will have in-display fingerprint sensor. Now it’s time to get an idea on the processor as well.
A new report suggests that Mi A3 will feature Snapdragon 730 octa core processor, whereas Mi A3 Lite will have Snapdragon 675 octa core processor. Both are a good upgrade as compared to their predecessors. Mi A2 had Snapdragon 660 chipset whereas the Lite version of A2 had Snapdragon 625 chipset. If we speculate that both these smartphones will share similar specs to Mi CC9 and Mi CC9E, then it’s also a good upgrade from Mi CC9. But I doubt that Mi A3 will have similar specs or maybe design to Redmi K20, and the Lite version might be the Android One version of Redmi Note 7 Pro.
