Mi A3 Is Expected To Launch In India On August 23

Back in last month, the Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi unveiled the Mi A3 which is based on Android One and now we got a new piece of information which suggest that the company is gearing up the smartphone the device in the market of India.

According to the source, the company will launch the device on August 23 in India but there is no information about the pricing and availability details. Having said that, the predecessor of the device was launched on August 8 via Amazon India. So, we can expect that the Mi A3 will also available through Amazon and Mi Store. Specifications of Mi A3

The device sports a 6.08 inch HD+ AMOLED display with 1560 X 720 pixels resolution and the device also has a waterdrop like notch on the top of the display along with the 19:5:9 aspect ratio. It is also protected with the Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and paired with 4GB of RAM. In terms of the storage, the device will available in two storage variants – 64 GB and 128 GB and that can be expandable via MicroSD card.

Speaking about the camera department, the Mi A3 rocks triple rear cameras and that’s in the combination of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a 118-degree wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor for depth sensing. Upfront, the smartphone also has the 32-megapixel camera for the selfies and video calls. The device also supports the in-display fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security.

Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Talking about the software, the device runs on the Android One program which means users will get the stock Android along with the regular software as well as the security updates and it runs on the latest version of Android i.e. Android 9.0. Lastly, the smartphone ships on a 4,030 mAh battery.
