The Global VP of Xiaomi and MD of Xiaomi India, Manu Kumar Jain has confirmed the arrival of Mi Band 3 on his Twitter account and the device will be launched in the Indian market on September 27th. Apart from this, Jain hasn’t revealed any other information about the wearable. Moreover, the company also confirmed to launch five ‘Smarter Living’ products in India on the same day.
Specification of Mi Band 3
The Mi Band 3 sports a bigger 0.78 inch OLED display with 128×80 resolution, which is a good resolution for a fitness band. This time Xiaomi decided to remove the navigation button and make this a touch screen fitness band. This is a waterproof band for up to 50 meters in water but no IP rating is mentioned. Xiaomi claims 20 days if battery life with this, same as the predecessor. As this is a fitness band, all necessary tracking features are available including the heart rate sensor.
Xiaomi also unveiled a new variant of this band, but the only advantage of this new variant is NFC support. The regular one doesn’t have NFC, while this another variant has.
We will bring the updates of the products to you, stay tuned to TechnoBugg.
