Design of Mi Mix Alpha
The all new Mi Mix Alpha features surround display and that covers the entire body and it has very small bezels on the top and bottom side of the device. The company says that the device will utilize the sensors and artificial intelligence to detect where the user is looking and the device will light up to show the content. And the device doesn’t feature a single button, which means you will not find the power button either the volume rockers on the new Xiaomi smartphone.
Speaking about the new display setup, the company has used a flexible screen to provide the surround display and the company claims to replace the traditional earpiece receiver and the proximity sensor while the device uses the pressure sensitivity and powers linear motor to provide the feeling of real buttons. Furthermore, the smartphone does not have any speaker and for this the company uses the Display Acoustic Technology.

The Mi Mix Alpha features a huge 7.92 inch flexible display with 2088 X 2250 pixels resolution, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor along with 12GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the smartphone offers a massive 512 GB of internal storage.
Coming to the camera department which is another highlighting and attractive department of this new Xiaomi smartphone, as the Mi Mix Alpha features 108 megapixel camera sensor and it is the first device to have such a huge Camera sensor on the board. The Mi Mix Alpha rocks triple rear cameras and that’s in the combination of a 108-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.69 aperture and a pixel size of 0.8-micron, followed by a 12-megapixel camera with an f/2 aperture and a pixel size of 1.4-micron and a 20-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a pixel size of 1.0-micron. And you can use the same camera setup for selfies and video calls. The device also supports the in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock to provide the maximum level of security.
Regarding the connectivity options, the Mi Mix Alpha supports 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, and Wi-Fi Direct. The smartphone runs MIUI Alpha based on Android 9, and it ships on a 4,050 mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.

The smartphone costs CNY 19,999. and the company will be produced in a limited batch at the end of December.
