Microsoft clarifies Minimum System requirements for Windows 11, the company also removes PC Health Check tool after getting negative feedback as the application was not capable to provide the exact reason for the incompatibility issue.
It is officially confirmed that Windows 11 currently supports chipsets with 2 or more cores having 1 GHz or faster speed along with at least 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. It also requires that the PC run on TPM version 2.0 and supports DirectX 12.
The company also says that it will be testing the compatibility for Intel’s 7th generation and AMD’s first generation processors and that means we can expect that the older chips will support the next-generation Windows operating system in the future.
