Microsoft the tech giant updated its Cortana digital assistant for the Android users. With the new update, the app gets the ability to use it from the lock screen.
You can enable it by getting into the Cortana’s setting menu, once you’ve done it. You will see a floating Cortana logo with ‘Swipe to Open’ displayed on the lock screen, when you swipe it you will able to see your personalized news feed, your schedule and more. However, the ability to ask questions or use it through your voice command are not available.
The new update can be seen in the version 2.5 of Cortana for Android, and you can download it from Google Play Store. As the update just started rolling out, so it may take some time to hit on your device. So, keep your eyes on Google Play Store for the latest update.
