Microsoft today unveiled the Surface Pro X 2021 in India. The 2-in-1 tablet running on Windows 11 comes with company-owned ARM-based SoC, which is offered at a highly competitive price.
For consumers, only one variant of the Microsoft Surface Pro X device is offered.It has a 13-inch pixel display with 2880x1920p resolution and 3: 2 aspect ratio. The screen has a pixel density of 267 ppi and offers 10 points of multi-touch functionality. Weighing in at 774 grams, the device has a Surface Slim Pen 2 with zero-force inking.
Thanks to the Adreno 685 GPU, Microsoft’s custom-built SQ1 octa-core ARM processor Surface Pro X comes with 2 teraflop graphic performance. 2-in-1 comes with inbuilt 64-bit emulation for access to apps over Windows 11 and above. Apps such as Microsoft Teams, Office, Adobe Photoshop, and Lightroom are also optimized for Windows in ARM.
The device features a full HD 5MP front camera with Windows Hello Face Authentication support and an AI-based Eye Contact feature to help you adjust the gaze between video calls. The device comes with a dual four-field studio mic setup and 2W stereo speakers with Dolby audio for high quality voice input between video calls.
It is said to provide up to 15 hours of battery life on a single charge. As for the rear camera, the device has a 10.0MP autofocus camera with 1080p HD and 4k video.
Microsoft India has introduced the WiFi-only variant of the Surface Pro X 2021. So this device only has Wi-Fi 5: 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, a magnetic surflink and USB-C for connectivity.
Price and Availability
For customers, the Microsoft Surface Pro X 2021 8GB + 128GB is now available for purchase at Rs. 93,999 ($ ​​1,272). The device comes in a platinum finish. Additionally, Surface Pro keyboards and signature type covers are sold separately.
For businesses, the model with 128GB storage will be retailed in India for Rs 94,599. The model with 256 GB storage will be retailed for Rs 1,13,299.
The Surface Pro X with SQ2 processor and Adreno 690 GPU is available for corporate houses in India. The 16GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs 131,799 ($ ​​1,784). 150,499 ($ ​​2,037) for the 16GB + 512GB variant.
