Microsoft has launched the much-awaited new Surface Lineup in India. These were unveiled back in October last year for other markets. This line includes Surface Pro X, Surface Pro 7 and Surface Laptop 3.
Microsoft Surface Pro X Specification
The Surface Pro has a 3:2 aspect ratio 13-inch screen with a display resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels. It s powered by the Microsoft SQ1 ARM processor. As the name suggests, it is developed by Microsoft with help from Qualcomm. The one configuration in which the laptop is currently available as an 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The accessories sold separately for the laptop includes Surface Pro X Signature Keyboard and Surface Slim Pen.

According to Microsoft, the Surface Pro X can deliver up to 13-hours of battery life on a single charge. It also supports fast-charging and LTE Connectivity. According to the company, it is one of their thinnest and lightest 2-in 1 model yet, weighing at just 774 grams and 7.3 mm in thickness. If we compare these dimensions to one of Apple’s laptops, the Macbook weighs 1.29 KG and is 16 mm at its thickest point.
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Specifications
Starting with the processor, it is powered by the Intel’s 10th Gen CPUs. The option to choose from includes Core i3-1005G1, Core i5-1035G4 and Core i7-1065G7. According to the Silicon Valley company, this processor is faster by 2.3x times than its predecessor. The PixelSense display is of 12.3-inch in size. It weighs 775 grams.

Connectivity features consist of a full-sized USB Connector, single USB Type-C port and Surface Connect ports. There is a built-in kickstand which allows you to use Surface Pro 7 as a laptop too. Additionally, you can get an optional Signature Type Cover, sold separately.
Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 Specifications
Surface Laptop 3 keeps the same slim build as the previous generation. But the screen size variants include two options – 13.5-inch model and the 15-inch model. The latter has a display resolution of 2256 x 1056 pixels and weighs 1.26 KG. But the 15-inch model weighs 1.54 KG and has a display resolution of 2496 x 1664 pixels.
The 13.5-inch Surface Laptop 3 is powered by Intel Core-i5-1035G7 and has AMD Radeon Vega 9 GPU. The 15-inch Surface Laptop 3 is powered by Intel Core i5-3580U CPU, and GPU tasks are handled by Radeon RX Vega 11 GPU.

Both variants have few features common among them as well. These features include USB Type-A port, USB Type-C port, Surface Connection Ports a headphone jack, HD webcam and Fingerprint scanner with Windows Hello Biometric Authentication. Surface Laptop 3 offers a battery life of 11.5 hours.
Pricing and Availablity
As for the pricing, the only Surface X model is priced at Rs. 98,999. It has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. This model comes with LTE connectivity as well.
The Surface Pro 7 starts from Rs. 72,999 for the Core i3 model that comes with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of SSD storage. The Core i5 model is priced at Rs. 88,999. It comes with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB SSD storage.
Finally, the Core i7 model retails for Rs. 1,41,999. It has 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB SSD storage. Surface Pro 7 is available in black and platinum shades.
The Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 13.5-inch variant costs Rs. 98,999. It comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of SSD storage.
The 15-inch Surface Laptop 3 is priced at Rs 1,16,999 and comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
These models will be available for purchase via major offline and online retails. According to some leaks, Microsoft is readying a Surface Book 3 in two sizes in 13-inch and 15-inch versions. We expect the official announcement soon.
