Microsoft has unveiled Xbox Wireless Headset which is designed fir gaming. It is developed with Xbox Series X or Series S and PC gamers in mind. One unique feature of the headset is that you can pair it with smartphones, which makes it easier for the user to attend calls without disconnection via the headset and continue with the game.
Features of the Xbox Wireless Headset
As the Xbox Wireless Headset belongs to the gaming category, it comes with a microphone which can be put away when not needed. It will isolate background noise from your voice thanks to two beam-forming mics and voice isolation tuning. The earcups of the headset can be rotated to adjust the volume in chats and game audio separately.
When it comes to connectivity it requires a Bluetooth 4.2 or above-supported dongle to connect it with PC whereas the Xbox has the functionality inbuilt. It supports high-quality audio standards such as Windows Sonic, Dolby Atmos and DTS Headphone:X
Weighing in at 315 grams, it packs a battery that lasts up to 25 hours on a single charge. In addition, you can quickly top it up to get 4 hours of music playback in just 30 minutes. Microsoft has also integrated the settings of the headset into the Xbox Accessories app so that you can adjust its equalizer and bass boost, configure the auto-mute feature, change the LED brightness and so on.
Pricing and Availability
The Xbox Wireless Headset is priced at CAD$ 130 in Canada and £95 in the UK. The pre-order is already live and it will be available via chosen retailers from March 16.
