The tech giant Microsoft introduces the Game Mode in Windows 10. The new feature will enhance gaming experience on your computer, by minimizing resources used by apps to almost nothing. And allocating free resources to the game, which will make the game run faster and smoother.
Microsoft is rolling out its new Creators Update for Windows 10, and it is currently for the windows insiders. And the Creators Update will also introduce a new feature called the Game Mode, it is a built-in feature and it will pop-up in a new gaming section of Windows 10’s system settings. Once you enable the option, it will put your processor in proper working order to give maximum resources to the game. And it will result, that the game will run more faster and smoother, and it will give you a new experience of playing.
Game Mode works similar to how Xbox One works, the device runs an OS, apps and more but it will minimize the impact of those processes once the user starts a game. If you are a Windows insider, then you can switch to Game Mode by pressing windows key + G on the keyboard, and then select the settings gear and then toggle it on.
The company is also testing a game broadcasting feature into the Xbox app, thanks to the acquisition of Beam in last year. However, the feature is currently disabled by the Microsoft for the users. It will able easy to stream game play to the Beam service with just the Xbox app with the Windows 10 Creators Update, and it is expected to release the update in April.
